Crazy Faith (9/11/11) – The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Learn from scripture how to grow your faith to the place of having a crazy faith that honors Jesus!

See you tomorrow!

Hello Church Community & Friends,

With the potential for a hurricane (or tropical storm) we want to announce that we will still have our Sunday worship experience at Riverbank Church this Sunday, August 28th at 10am, at the Lebanon Opera House.

We understand that the weather “may” require emergency precautions. Please be safe, keep an eye on the news forecasts and make the best decision for your family.

If you are unable to make it out, please give online HERE. We want to continue to give to bring our tithes & offerings so Riverbank Church can stay focused on the mission of reaching people with the love and message of Jesus.

Proclaimed continues our study in Acts!

Beginning THIS Sunday, August 8th.

In Acts 20:24, Paul announces, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” In this series, we’re taking a look at Acts 17-20, and learning how we too are tasked with this same mission: Proclaiming the gospel of God’s grace. This gospel is Good News… so let’s proclaim it!

Communion THIS Sunday!

Often times we make communion exactly what Jesus did not intend for it to be, a tradition, a thing we do just because it’s holy. If you would like to listen to Pastor Chris teach Riverbank Church’s approach to communion listen to “Remembering Him” HERE .

This Sunday, June 26th we will participate in communion together during our morning experience.

July 10th Baptism

Every follower of Jesus is commanded to be baptized. This is not simply a good idea or a great suggestion. It is a command of Jesus. It is a symbolic act of our desire to follow Jesus by identifying with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection through water baptism. The Apostle Paul wrote concerning baptism…“Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:3-4)

Baptism is our identification with Jesus and the outward symbol of our inward commitment. If you are a follower of Jesus and have asked Jesus to forgive you of our sins, then your responsibility is to obey Jesus by being baptized.

When: July 10th

Where: Lebanon Opera House

What: Celebration of the obedience of Christ followers
